Top Film & Television Apps in Ukraine: Q3 2024 Performance Insights

During the third quarter of 2024, the film and television app landscape in Ukraine showcased varied performance trends across the top five applications, according to data from Sensor Tower.

MEGOGO: TV, Movies, Audiobooks saw fluctuations in its weekly revenue, which peaked at around $185K in mid-August. The app's weekly downloads started at approximately 34.9K and dipped to a low of 14.3K in mid-September, before rising again to 20.1K by the end of the quarter. Active users began the quarter at 224.9K, experiencing a gradual decline to 174.6K by late September.

SWEET.TV maintained a relatively stable weekly revenue, ranging from $40.6K to $51K, closing the quarter on a high note. Downloads were consistent as well, fluctuating between 9.7K and 11.9K. The app's active users, however, showed a slight downward trend, starting at 48.4K and ending at 40.2K.

Amazon Prime Video exhibited modest revenue figures, with a peak of $2.2K in mid-July. Weekly downloads hovered around the 1.2K mark, with a notable spike to 1.7K in late August. Active users remained steady throughout the quarter, ranging between 10.1K and 11.9K.

Crunchyroll maintained a consistent revenue stream, peaking at $1.4K towards the end of September. The app's downloads varied, reaching a high of 1.6K mid-July, while active users peaked at 16.8K in late August before settling at 15.5K by the quarter's end.

ReelShort - Short Movie & TV displayed a notable increase in revenue in early August, reaching $2.5K. Downloads showed a significant rise from 147 in late July to 1.8K in early August. Active users followed a similar upward trend, increasing from 663 to 2.5K by early August, and remained above 1.3K for the rest of the quarter.
